LAHORE–After recapturing all important seat in a cliffhanger against the PTI candidate in NA-122 Lahore, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is set to perch again on the Speaker slot of the National Assembly.

Sources in the PML-N said the party had decided even before the election to put Sardar Ayaz back to the assembly saddle and for that matter the seat was kept vacant in the National Assembly albeit its day to day business was carried out through the Deputy Speaker who performed as Acting Speaker.

The NA session is likely to be convened on October 26 when Ayaz Sadiq will take oath as an MNA. Sources say arrangements are being made to accord him warm welcome on his arrival.
