Three gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI – Three people were killed in the separate incidents here on Tuesday.
A man was killed and another wounded in the incident of firing near Gulshan-e-Iqbal within the remit of Sacchal Police Station. Police officials said that the victim Salahuddin, 35, and his brother Sirajuddin, 30, sons of Awal Khan, residents of Ali Town were on their way to home from somewhere when two armed riders intercepted and shot them. Resultantly, Salahuddin received multiple bullets injures and died on the spot while his brother Sirajuddin was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital with critical wounds. The body of deceased was handed over to the family after autopsy. Police suspect personal enmity was the motive behind the killing.
A man was gunned down near Kunwari Colony within the limit of Peerabad Police Station.
Separately, a man, Abdul Ghafoor 45, son of Dilbar Khan succumbed to his head injuries when he was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Police said that unidentified culprits target him near Kunwari Colony when he was going somewhere from his home. SP West Amir Farooq said before the incident, victim’s son was targeted in the same fashion.
The body moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities and later handed over to his heirs. The motive behind the killing was tribal dispute.
