TOBA TEK SINGH - Rajana police registered on Wednesday a case against an alleged extortionist namely Naubahar Gadhi and his 30 accomplices for forcing Chak 189-GB shopkeepers to give them extortion money. Naubahar had demanded extortion money from a butcher but he refused to pay over which the accused tortured the butcher and when villager overpowered the accused, his 30 accomplices besieged the village and tortured a number of villagers. Later, the villagers handed the accused over to Rajana police. Meanwhile, the villagers staged a protest demonstration against extortionists.
