PESHAWAR - As many as six persons were gunned down while two others sustained injuries in different incidents in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday.As per details, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on five people who were coming back homes on motorcycles after attending a musical programme late night.Resultantly, a police constable Sadullah of the City Police Station, his brother Ali Rehman and Faizullah died on the spot while Hakim Jan and Yousaf sustained injuries. They were attacked at Auba village near Chunda, Yarak areaThe police said the accused managed escape after committing the crime and the dead bodies and the injured were shifted to the district hospital, Dera Ismail Khan. Reason behind the killing is stated to be an old enmity. Police registered an FIR and started investigation.Meanwhile, in Pharpur area, Fateullah opened firing at his friend Saqib and killed him near a bicycle machine shop. Similarly, two more people were shot dead over a monetary dispute in Dera Town. Falak Sher and his son-in-law Ghulam Hussan were taking an ailing girl on motorcycle to a nearby hospital when Fazl Mir Bhettani and Tehsil Behtani gunned them down on the spot.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
