Islamabad- In the wake of arrival of two opposition long marches in Islamabad, the government has directed the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) today to block mobile phone services in different cities.
Reports said the cellular services have already been suspended in Islamabad’s Red Zone with federal capital completely sealed with containers. Sources said the services have been suspended for an indefinite period on the directives of federal interior ministry. PTA is also likely to block services in several cities of Punjab on August 14.
