Security reviewed for Pindi Milad processions

RAWALPINDI - Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) gave the message of peace and love for the whole world and the Muslims should spread the message of love and peace of the Prophet as it is the only way to restore peace and interfaith harmony across the world.
"We will celebrate the Milad of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with full religious spirit, enthusiasm and fervor and security and other arrangements for protection of Milad professions by the divisional, district and local administration are appreciable," said the custodian of Eidghah Sharif, Pir Naqeeb-ur-Rehman, while addressing religious scholars, Ulema and office bearers of various Markazi Milad Committees at Darbar Eid Ghah Sharif here on Sunday. He assured all-out cooperation for arrangements on the occasion of Eid-Muilad by the office bearers of Milad committees The meeting was attended by Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Khalid Masood Chaudhry, RPO Akhtar Umar Hayat Laleeka, DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dall, former MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Sh. Tariq Masood, Sh. Nasir, Shahid Mansoor Chisti, Ch. Khursheed, Fakhar Zaman, Malik Akhtar Ali, Ch. Ashraf, prominent religious scholars and office bearers of Milad Committees.
In his remarks, Commissioner Rawalpindi Khalid Masood said that the city administration has finalized foolproof of security and provision of all possible facilities on the route of Markazi Milad Procession. He added that all concerned departments should remain present and alert to ensure the arrangements. He said that the administration and concerned govt. departments are in touch with office bearers of Divisional & District Milad Committees to implement the arrangement plan in the light of the suggestions of the office bearers of Milad Committees.
Regional Police Officer Akhar Umar Hayat Laleeka said that foolproof security cover would be provided to the processions of the Milad and strict vigilance would be kept with the cooperation of organizers of various Milad processions.
Former MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi said that lovers of Holy Prophet (PBUH) would observe Eid-milad-un-Nabi with full spirit and enthusiasm. He added that the belief of a Muslim does not become complete unless he has deep and true love for Muhammad (PBUH).
He further said that the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) itself gives message of peace and security to the humanity.  Hanif Abbasi said that all the Pakistani nation should become united and steadfast against sectarian hatred and extremism to foil designs of anti-Pakistan elements who are set out to disrupt unity of the country by resorting to bloodshed through terrorist activities.
