Ahsan stresses same edu system across country

SIALKOT

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal stressed a need for providing equal education opportunities to all the male and female students of urban and rural areas.
Addressing an annual prize distribution ceremony of a private school at Narowal, he said that the government was striving to remove the darkness of illiteracy by spreading the light of knowledge and education through public-private partnership in sector.
He urged the teachers and parents to focus on the character building of the students, bringing change in our attitude and promoting quality education. He said, “Students are the future of the country and all of us should secure their educational future by ensuring their easy access to quality education.”
He also stressed collective efforts for promotion of education to enhance the literacy rate. He stressed rooting out illiteracy at the grassroots level to bring about radical changes in every sphere of life. He called for changing the education system on the modern lines and removing disparities to ensure equal opportunities in the country.
MPAs Khawaja Waseem Butt, Rana Manan and Shujaat Ahmed Khan, DCO Syed Najaf Iqbal and PML-N district President Malik Tariq Awan were also present.
