PML-N not part of any deal: Information Minister

Lahore- Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid today said that PML-N neither came, nor will become part of any deal contrary to law and constitution of the country.
He was answering the questions of journalists after a ceremony in Lahore today in the backdrop of alleged deal for providing safe exit to former President Pervez Musharraf. He said that PML-N will not become part of this debate because the statements of PPP's own leaders are contradictory.
To a question regarding IDPs, he expressed the hope that soon they will return to their homes in North Waziristan after restoration of peace in there region. He said the government is committed to fulfill all the requirements of armed forces of the country.
To another question regarding the power load shedding, he said the sitting PML-N government is taking every possible step to address the issue and a number of solid measures have been taken in this direction.

To a question regarding cross border firing incident in Bajaur, the minister said Pakistan has launched a strong protest with the Afghan authorities. He said that free and vibrant media is imperative for democracy. Earlier addressing the ceremony, he underlined the need for promotion of modern and moderate education and education institutions.
