ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Wednesday lashed out at the media, calling them “unethical” for reporting false news of his third marriage.
The PTI chief took it to Twitter to express his views, saying: “Unethical of media to spread false news of my marriage based upon absolute lies. Had that happened in UK heads would have rolled”.
“Women pics shown whom I neither know nor ever met. Such disinformation is irresponsible & shows a collapse of moral & ethical standards,” added Khan in another tweet.
It is relevant to mention here that on Tuesday, media reports began to surface regarding Imran Khan tying the knot for the third time. It was reported that Imran Khan has married Maryam, who is apparently sister of Bushra, a daughter-in-law of Maneka family.
According to Imran Khan, Bushra wife of Customs Officer Khawar Farid Maneka is his ‘spiritual guide’.
Rumours abt my marriage absolutely baseless. I have not gotten married. When I do I will announce & celebrate publicly.
