JC summons ex-caretaker Balochistan CM

ISLAMABAD - Inquiry Commission has summoned former caretaker chief minister Balochistan and two Returning Officers from Balochistan for cross-examination on Monday.
Former caretaker chief minister Balochistan Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai, District Returning Officer and two Returning Officers were summoned to reply the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) queries.
BNP-M Counsel Sajjid Tareen in the last hearing had requested Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, who is heading the Inquiry Commission to summon these persons as due to them his clients had lost Provincial Assembly Balochistan seats in the general election. President Mamnoon Hussain on April 3 had promulgated the ordinance for the constitution of judicial commission to probe the allegations of rigging in the elections 2013.
The PTI has been demanding the judicial commission to probe widespread rigging in the 2013 polls since long and last year held 126-day long sit-in at Red Zone for pressing of their demands.
The PTI parliamentarians after the issuance of the ordinance for constitution of commission ended their boycott of National Assembly and provincial assemblies.
