Lahore: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique today said that democracy suffered, due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s sentimental approach.

He expressed these views while talking to the media, after inaugurating new coaches for the Hazara Express at Lahore Railway Station. He said that the government has formed judicial commission exclusively for Khan.

Rafique said that the operation in Karachi is against crimes in the city. The purpose of the operation is not to target Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), he added. While talking about Pakistan’s role in the Yemen conflict, he said that the country is always ready to defend the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia, but the decision regarding participation in Yemen conflict would not be done with sentimentalism.
