Zardari urges judges to avoid political decisions

ISLAMABAD: Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, former President Asif Ali Zardari, on Wednesday said that judges should avoid political decisions.
“It is also important that the judiciary should not be involved in resolving political issues and honourable judges should avoid taking decisions of a political nature,” said the former president, commenting on Lahore High Court judgement (LHC) that barred staging long marches and sit-downs in Islamabad. The co-chairman PPP further said that the people have a right to protest about their grievances.
