ISLAMABAD - National Assembly Standing Committee on Human Rights Chairman Riaz Fatiyana Tuesday took serious notice of detention of 50 students in a madressah of Gadab area of Karachi. PML-Q MNA Riaz Fatiyana demanded a detailed report of the incident and progress on this issue from IGP Sindh. I have written a letter seeking a detailed report of the incident, Riaz Fatiyana said while talking to TheNation. He said the detailed report would be compiled in two weeks and the matter would be taken up in the next standing committee meeting. Over 50 students have been freed from a religious school in Karachi, where they were tied with chains.Two people, helping run the madressah were nabbed.
