Imran urges youth to work for humanity, national progress

PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked youth to come forward and play a leading role in the country’s development and serving humanity. “Besides eliminating corruption, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is also focusing on providing quality education and best health facilities to people of the province,” he said.
The KPK government, he said, would plant around 1 billion trees by 2018, so that to counter the global warming, as Pakistan is among the top 10 countries feared to be the worst affected by global warming.
He said this while addressing at the Islamia College, Peshawar, here yesterday.
The PTI chief avoided to talk on politics and advised youth to play their role in the development of the country and services of humanity. “Let us join in tree plantation so that to set an example to the rest of the world,” he advised the students.
Imran said that the provincial government was determined to reform education and health sectors, but unfortunately, it faces opposition from mafias. The provincial government would fight against those who are creating hurdles in this regard.
