Two decomposed bodies recovered

KARACHI - Three people died in separate incidents of violence and mishaps in the metropolis on Sunday. According to details, a decomposed body of a middle-aged man was found in the precincts of Jamshaid Town Police Station. The body had torture marks. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities and later moved to mortuary for identification. Separately, two-day old decomposed body of a man was found in a flat in the limits of Ghulstan-e-Johar Police Station. Police said that deceased was Muhammad Akram, 45, son of Inamullah, resident of Bismillah Terrace, Block 10. The body was recovered after breaking the door of the flat on the information of residents as they felt foul smell from the flat. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, a man died when he fell into a well near Murtaza Chowrangi in the jurisdiction of Landhi Police Station. Police said that Mudasir, 25, son of Tabish, was resident of same area. He fell down into the well while cleaning it. Rescue workers recovered his body from the well and shifted it to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. After the legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs.
