KASHMORE - In what could be termed as a botched-police-raid-led-tragedy, three women, belonging to the family of a proclaimed offender, jumped into River Indus along with five children to avoid ending up in custody – all of them are feared drowned.According to latest reports the body of one child was recovered from the choppy waters of mighty River Indus, whereas divers are still busy searching for the others.Sources said the outlaw, the cops were after, was not at home at the time of the raid. "The women feared the police would take them away and then use them as hostages to force the wanted criminal to surrender, so they preferred to drown than fall into the hands of police", sources quoted a local as having said.
