Khyber Agency - The local elders, civil society organisations and traders on Saturday protested against the political agent Khyber Agency and said during his long tenure, he (PA Khyber) could not resolve problems of the masses.
The protest was staged by them in front of the Landikotal Press Club on Saturday. They said that PA Khyber posted Dr Azamat Wazir, an honest officer, out of the area thus depriving him of his legal right.
The protesters included Malik Abdullah Khan, Malik Khurshid, Wali Muhammad, Abdul Rehman Shinwari and Purdil Shinwari declared transfer of APA Landikotal a stepmother like attitude of PA Khyber with the locals.
They said that the outgoing APA had leave no stone unturned to work for the welfare of tribesmen.  The protesters were holding placards inscribed with slogans against PA Khyber and restoration of APA Landikotal.
They also chanted slogans against PA Khyber, calling him a corrupt and usurper. They also regretted that officials of the administration and their high-ups were publicly involved in corruption and collecting illicit money that is why the officials had no concerns with the resolution of public problems in Fata. 
The local people demanded the government to bring back APA Landikotal Azmat Wazir to serve the people.
They also urged the government to take notice of the widespread corruption and demanded that a mechanism should be set to spend huge funds on the welfare of poor tribal people.
