Islamabad- The federal government has filed an appeal today, against the Sindh High Court’s order of removing the name of former president Pervez Musharraf from the exit control list (ECL).
The appeal was filed at the Supreme Court of Pakistan by the deputy attorney general on behalf of the federal government.
The federal government has requested that SHC’s order should be declared null and void. SHC had ordered removal of Musharraf’s name from the Exit Control List on Thursday, allowing him to fly out of Pakistan.
