Death anniversary of Guru Arjun Dev Jee concludes

ATTOCK -The three days long celebrations of death anniversary of Guru Arjun Dev Jee Maharaaj concluded here at Gurdwara Siri Punja Sahib in Hasanabdal on Monday.
More than 500 Sikh yatrees including 156 from India participated in the celebrations. The Sikh yatrees during their three days stay recited their holy book, had holy bath and performed other rituals.
Deputy Secretary General (Shrines) Syed Faraz Abbas told The Nation that on the special directives of ETPB Chairman Siddiqul Farooq, the Sikh yatrees were provided all facilities including boarding, messing and healthcare free of cost. Chief Security Officer Muhammad Naeem when contacted said that more than 700 police personnel were deployed for security of the yatrees and CCTV cameras and walk through gates were also installed.
Group Leader of Indian Sikh yatrees Saantaa Singh while talking to this scribe said that Sikhs are thankful to Pakistani government for providing them all facilities, security and above - all religious freedom. He said that people of Pakistan specially of Hasanabdal are loving and caring.
