At least two persons including a police constable were killed and another cop injured when armed men opened fire at them outside session court here in Gujrat on Wednesday.
According to details, armed men opened fire at their opponent who had been brought for court appearance.
A police constable identified as Qamar Zaman and his relative whom he accompanied were killed on the spot while another policeman sustained critical wounds.
The armed men managed to flee from the scene after committing dual murder.
The injured cop was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said that the firing incident could be outcome of personal enmity. The police started search for the culprits.
