QUETTA - The acting Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court (BHC) Justice Jamal Mandokhel and Justice Naheem Afghan have revoked the decision of Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Syed Matiullah Agha, in which he had cancelled the notification of Nawabzada Tariq Magsi as Opposition leader in the Provincial Assembly.
It may be mentioned here that former Speaker Balochistan Assembly Aslam Bhootani had issued the notification of Nawabzada Tariq Magsi as Opposition leader. After upholding the Tariq Magsi as Opposition leader in Balochistan Assembly he would be consulted by the Chief Minister for selection a caretaker Chief Minister soon after Governor’s rule is lifted.
Talking to media, former Speaker Aslam Bhootani said that he was happy over the restoration of Tariq Magsi as Opposition leader by Balochistan High Court.
He said that he had issued notification keeping in view all the Constitutional and legal requirements.
