Swabi spring festival enthralls kids

SWABI - ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’ was the cry of the academic staff and students in IIUI School System Swabi spring festival here on Wednesday.
For the first time here, the children had the opportunity to experience something, which they only wished for a long time.
The ground of the school thronged by children, their respective family members and friends. The children seemed enthralled with the idea and the arrangement of Jumping Castle, Magic Show and Educational Drama added to their amusement.
“We are very happy here and really grateful to the school for giving us something so nice for such reasonable and nominal prices” said a visitor. Entry ticket was only for Rs. 20. “When we were coming we had no idea what we would see but when we entered and saw the decorations we realized its going to be something special” added another lady.
An eye catching and mouth watering ‘food corner’ added to the hue of festivity.
Children took part in games, sack races and tug of war. Boys flew kites joyously with their painted faces and girls sprawled along the beautifully decorated stalls with mehndi on their hands. However, along with the entertainment, the educational vision of the school was not ignored. For the orientation and convenience of the crowd a book corner was arranged with books on history, religion, culture and folk stories. The event management received great applause.
The IIUI schools believe in quality education along with meeting the challenges of the 21st century, yet, at the same time not forgetting our history and highly valued Islamic norms.
