Quetta- At least 10 people including security personnel were killed and over 30 others injured in a blast in Quetta today.
Rescue sources said that the blast targeted a Frontier Constabulary (paramilitary force) vehicle at Prince Road near Science College in the troubled city. Rescue team rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to Bolan hospital,” they added.
A FC vehicle which was passing by at the time of the explosion was badly damaged and according to the police the vehicle was the target. The security forces cordoned off the area while the investigation is being carried out. The sources said that the explosive was planted in motorcycle.
No group has claim responsibility of today’s blast but Baloch Nationalist Militant groups have been targeting FC and other forces in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.
Earlier on today, nine people were killed in suicide attack in Peshawar.
