19 outlaws held; 110 wine bottles recovered

ISLAMABAD- Islamabad Capital Territory Police have arrested 19 outlaws from various area of the city and recovered stolen bike, illegal weapons, narcotics and wine from their possession, a police spokesman said today.

According to details, senior  police officials  directed all heads of police stations to ensure effective security and patrolling measures in
their respective areas. They were directed to take strict action against vehicles being driven without documents and irrelevant persons. During last 24 hours, Islamabad police also impounded 107 bikes and nine vehicles during general hold up. Police teams also apprehended three suspects during search operation in different localities. Meanwhile, Nilor Police arrested drug pusher namely Afzal Zaheer and recovered 1.50 kilogram hashish, one 30 bore pistol and 12 bore rifle from him. Bani Gala police arrested Abdul Jabbar and recovered one stolen bike from him.
Sihala Police arrested a bootlegger identified as Tahir Mehmood and recovered three wine bottles from him. Margallah police arrested bootleggers Rehm Massiah and recovered 50 wine bottles from him. Police team also arrested two accused namely Aftab and Sadeer for having 30 bore pistol and one 12 bore rifle respectively. Golra Police arrested four accused namely Haris Ali Khan, Faizan Tariq , Jawad Ahmed, Mujahid Khan and recovered one pistol 30 bore, revolving light and uniforms of law enforcement agency from them.
Police arrested two bootleggers Ilyas Masih and Asif for having 50 wine bottles while Aabpara police apprehended Altaf in possession of 50 garm hashish. Ramana Police arrested two bootleggers namely Mobeen and Zargam Khan for having wine. Kohsar police arrested four accused namely Sajid Sohail , Moon Masih, Shamoon Masih, Shafique Masih and recovered six  wine bottles wine, 18 cans of beer and 510 gram hashish  from their possession.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Ali Naikokara has directed all SHOs for effective steps to curb activities of criminal elements. He also asked for strict vigilance against suspects and enhanced patrolling measures in the city.
