Karachi- Despite the claims of temporary end to load shedding from the whole country, duration of load shedding still continues from to 3 to 9 hours in the city.

The affected areas include Layari, Saddar, Khardar, Nazimabad, Korangi, Landhi, Qaidabad and several other areas of Karachi. People are facing problems due to prolonged load shedding and intense hot weather. According to KESC, the areas where there is electric theft duration in such areas have been increased and where recovery is 90% or more those areas are exempted from load shedding.
