11 outlaws arrested in Rawalpindi

Police during a special drive against anti-social elements nabbed 11 outlaws from different localities of the district and recovered illegal arms drugs and fireworks from them.
Separate cases were registered against all the detainees while further investigation was under way, informed police spokesman here on Monday.
According to him, police while accelerating action against anti-social elements conducted raids at various places and arrested 11 outlaws.
Police also recovered huge quantity of narcotics and illegal arms from their possession.
The illegal arms and narcotics recovered by police included 3400 grams of charas, 6 pistols of 30-bore and 26 bullets, he said.
Sharing details of police action, the spokesman said, Mandra police held Zahid and Adnan and seized 2200 and 1200 grams of charas respectively from their possession and locked them up after filing cases against them.
An alcoholic namely Qasim has been nabbed by Ratta Amral police while RA Bazaar police caught Waqas and Rashid after finding 2 pistol of 30-bore with 8 bullets from their possession.
Similarly Sadiqabad police arrested Kamran on account of possessing a 30-bore pistol and 2 bullets whereas Gujar Khan police held Asad and recovered a 30-bore pistol with 5 bullets.
Jatli police arrested two men namely Babar and Allah Ditta and recovered two pistols of 30-bore with 11 bullets.
On the other hand, a police team conducted a raid on a marriage ceremony and arrested one accused Abdul Samad with fireworks.
