BANNU  - The security forces thwarted major terror bid as they recovered and defused two bombs planted in two motorcycles here on Sunday.
According to details, the police on suspicion checked two motorcycles parked near public transport terminal in semi-tribal area, Hawaid of Bannu during which two bombs of 20 kg each were recovered.
It should be mentioned that a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpost is also situated near the scene of recovery of bombs.
Police said that the bombs would have caused huge human and property losses if not defused timely.
