QWP Peshawar leader resigns from party membership

PESHAWAR - Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Peshawar Zone Vice Chairman Manzoor Khalil along with other party office-bearers on Tuesday resigned from the party basic membership.
While addressing a news conference here at press club, Manzoor Khalil said that owing to the wrong policies of party central leadership despite having numerical strength the QWP could not succeed to elect even a single senator in the recent Senate polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “I along with my colleagues and party office-bearers of PK-6 principally decided to resign from the basic membership of QWP. Flanked by Moeenud Din, QWP Youth Wing Zonal President, Riaz Maseh, PK-6 Minorities Wing Chief, Chairman Rabita Committee Abdul Ghani and Wahid Khan, he alleged that QWP is not the party of masses but rather a party of two or three persons. He also alleged that QWP is working solely on the policy of Sikandar Sherpao, therefore its former coalition partner, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf kicked out it from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. Criticizing the central leadership of QWP, he said that other political parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly despite having less numerical strength in senate polls were succeeded in electing their senators, whereas QWP was badly failed to get a seat in the senate polls.

He also alleged that QWP is blindly following the policies of Awami National Party and due to which it was failed at all fronts. On this occasion, all the office-bearers of QWP tendered their resignations from party basic membership.
