ISLAMABAD: Information Minister,  Pervaiz Rashid, says the government has achieved major successes in the war on terror and on the economic front over the last one year.   

Talking to Radio Pakistan today, he said the world leaders are also recognizing Pakistan's sacrifices in the war on terrorism. He pointed out that the Belarusian president ,during the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the country, appreciated Pakistan's anti-terrorism efforts.

He said the situation in Karachi and Balochistan has improved a lot and they celebrated Independence Day this year with full zeal and enthusiasm

Pervaiz Rashid said the world's leading journals and financial institutions are also recognizing Pakistan's achievements on the economic front.

The Minister said the country's foreign exchange reserves have reached record level while the inflation has reduced to single digit. Our stock market is being ranked in the world's best performing markets.
