RAWALPINDI- Pakistan Army has reiterated the determination to root out terrorists from the country at all cost and it will come up to the expectations of the nation through the Zarb-e-Azb Operation.

Talking to journalists, DG ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said the operation Zarb-e-Azb is aimed at establishing writ of the government in tribal areas and to bring peace in all parts of the country.

He said concrete steps will be taken to stop terrorists from returning to these areas after the operation. He said that North Waziristan had become the main hideout of the terrorists.

The terrorists brainwashed suicide attackers in their training centers in North Waziristan, Bajwa added. Major General Bajwa said the operation against terrorists is in full swing and a large number of terrorists have been killed.

He further said security situation in the cleared areas of North Waziristan is satisfactory. He claimed that 190 innocent people were killed in terrorist incident throughout the country from January to mid of 2014.
