MUZZAFARGARH Petrol have vanished from pumps in the city, making Tuesday the 7th consecutive day of the suffering of the motorists and the common man. About 80 per cent of the filling stations ran either dry or faced severe shortage of fuel, resulting, the irregular supply of the daily-use commodity from the distribution companies. Many filling stations in the city remained closed and those which were opened had long lines of motorbikes and cars. Petrol station owners said that the rest of the areas were either deprived of petrol supply or were being provided with meagre supply. They said the government did not seen serious in solving the problem. All the major refineries had been supplying mere 25 per cent to the distributors, they said. The petrol was, however, available in black market at the price of Rs125 to Rs150 per litre.
