Quetta: In Baluchistan, eight militants have been killed and several others arrested in a search operation by the Frontier Corp in Kalat, Mastung, Panjgur and Boi areas.
An FC spokesman said in Quetta that three FC personnel also received injuries, during exchange of fire with the militants. He said arms and ammunition were also recovered during the operation.
The spokesman said these militants were involved in attack on security forces. They also sabotaged acts in Noushaki and other areas. In another operation two militants were killed in an encounter with FC personnel in Tasp area of Panjgur district.
