Karachi: A senior police officer was killed, while his wife sustained injuries after unidentified gunmen opened fire on their car today.
According to media reports, the firing incident took place at Pehlawan Goth located in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of the city where the gunmen targeted a government vehicle. The victim was identified as SP Aijaz Haider, Jail Superintendent Hyderabad. His wife was shifted to nearby hospital where, according to doctors, she was in critical condition.
