QUETTA: Security forces have decided to launch a major operation in Khuzdar and Hub area of Balochistan following the gory suicide attack on Shah Noorani Shire, which killed 54 devotees and injured over 100 others.

According to reports, investigation into the attack said that there was a strong presence of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi in Balochistan and the outfit has carried out many attacks in the province.

Following the Shah Noorani blast, the security forces have decided to launch a major operation against the terrorist organization. They said that the under arrest members of the banned outfit were being investigated.

The investigations teams also visited the shrine on Tuesday during which more evidence was collected and statements of eyewitnesses were recorded.    The teams have recovered pieces of hand grenades and bullets of 9 MM pistols.
