According to Advocate Akram Sheikh, Maryam Safdar Nawaz has submitted the documents in Supreme Court today, reported Waqt News.
In today’s hearing on Panama case, Advocate Akram Sheikh told the SC that Hussain Nawaz is abroad due to which his documents can’t be submitted. While Maryam Nawaz has presented the papers today. He further asked for time in the case, as he wanted to present documents related to Qatari Prince Shaikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Muhammed Al Thani. On which the SC asked “Will the Prince be willing to present himself in court too?”
Regarding the documents presented in SC, Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali said “Documents consisting of 1600 pages from one party were submitted while the other party to the case had submitted 700 pages. We are not computer machines, and we need time to study them. Give only relevant documents for our convenience and speedy justice.” he said.
Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed said, if the documents had been submitted on Monday by the Sharif family, the bench could have gone through them.
The case has been postponed till Thursday.
