LAHORE: Two domestic servants robbed former Test cricketer Wasim Akram’s mother and fled.

According to Police Wasim Akram’s mother Irshad Kausar employed two maids named Fatima and Iman at her house two days ago. They took away Rs 82,000 and jewelry worth several hundred thousand rupees.

According to Wasim Akram’s mother the maids drugged her rendering her unconscious. Police have registered a case and begun investigation into the incident.

Wasim Akram’s mother said that a driver who worked in the neighbourhood had referred the maids to her.
