SIALKOT - Jamaatud Dawa Ameer Prof Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has strongly condemned the attempt on the life Malala Yousafzai and termed it an international conspiracy, saying that no Muslim could commit such cowardice attack. He described Malala as the daughter of Pakistan and Islam and expressed solidarity with her. He urged the government to ensure early arrest of the attackers.He stated this while addressing party workers here the other day. He said that Malala episode was a global conspiracy against Islam and Pakistan which they hatched to divert world attention from the globally most condemned issue of the blasphemous movie.He urged the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah to boycott all the US and European-made products to halt their economy after the blasphemous movie and attack on Malala Yousafzai. He said that the most condemned blasphemous movie was the biggest terrorism in the World perpetrated under the patronage of America.Hafiz Saeed alleged that the US-led Western forces had killed as many as 700,000 innocent men, women, youngsters, old men and innocent children in Afghanistan, terming this massacre of the innocent Afghan people in the war against the terrorism after the 9/11 episode.Punjab youth festival in full swing : Punjab Youth Festival is providing a vibrant platform to the youth to express their thoughts, expertise, and show their talent. UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan expressed these views while addressing a gathering of a magic show at Iqbal Auditorium.  The magic show was organised by UAF Office of the Senior Tutor under the auspicious of Punjab Youth Festival with an overwhelming participation of school students and families.  The VC urged the students to show their abilities and talent in the ground besides sitting in front of computer and Television. He applauded the efforts of the participating students of various programs for making the Rabi Festival, World Space Week and Youth Festival.Earlier, Senior Tutor Dr Aslam in his welcomed address said that under the Punjab Youth Festival, students were participating in 8 different segments and the UAF hosts 5 events and provides excellent facilities to the participating students. He said business plan competition, flower arrangements, drama competition poetry were being organised by his office.Later, the Vice Chancellor inaugurated the flowers show at the Library of Institute of Horticultural Sciences.
