PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that the second death anniversary of his son Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed will be held at Nishtar Hall, Peshawar, on October 16, 2012.
He said the event would be held at 2:00 PM, and Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti would be the chief guest on the occasion. This, he stated, while chairing a meeting regarding the formation of Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed Foundation at Peshawar, the other day. The meeting besides others was also attended by the Social Welfare Minister, Sitara Ayaz, MPAs Tabassum Younas Katozai, Yasmin Zia, Vice Chancellor Chakdarra Prof Dr Johar Ali, renowned psychiatrist Dr Mian Iftikhar Hussain, president PUTA, Jamil Ahmad Chatrali, senior journalists Ismail Khan, Shamim Shahid, President ANP PK-12 Zar Ali Khan and social worker Idrees Kamal. The meeting was convened to complete the documentation process of the Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed Foundation.
It may be recalled that due to Ramazan ul Mubarak, the 2nd death anniversary of Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed was celebrated with simplicity at his ancestral village Pabbi and now it was announced that formal function in this respect would be held on October 16.
