US prodding behind LoC aggression: JuD

MULTAN
Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) Secretary General Maulana Ameer Hamza said on Tuesday that India launched aggression on Eastern border of Pakistan on American instigation to pressurise Pakistan and achieve their vicious goals, asking the nation to shun all differences and unite for the defence of the country.
Addressing a gathering of JuD workers, he disclosed that the planning to launch aggression against Pakistan was made during Indian Prime Minister Modi’s recent US visit. He warned that India would not stop aggression, if she was not given a strong reply. He declared that the JuD would create awareness among the masses on recent aggression in every nook and corner of the country. Citing the examples of previous wars, he said that the nation should not get trapped into conspiracies like 1971 and exhibit unity like 1965. “We do not need to wait for anyone else to help us out. We have to fight our war on our own,” he added. He claimed that the US wanted to avenge her defeat in Afghanistan and she wanted to give India a major role in this region to get revenge from Pakistan.
Earlier, the JuD leader led ghaibana namaz-e-janaza (funeral in absentia) for a member of JuD in Shujabad. Addressing the participants on the occasion, he said that Kashmir was Pakistan’s lifeline and we needed to get it out of Indian clutches. He warned that the country would have to face more horrible floods in future, if we failed to get Kashmir freed from India. He said that India constructed many dams with American assistance during last 14 years and now it started releasing floodwater to Pakistan for the last five years. He asked the Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to raise voice against Indian terrorism in the world in a way he did on Kashmir issue in UNO. “Mian Nawaz Sharif needs to interpret nation’s sentiments. He has to dispel the impression that Pakistan wants to have a one-way friendship with India,” he added.
