Peshawar: Over 76 suspected persons including Afghan Nationals have been arrested in search operations by law enforcing agencies in Peshawar and Charsadda areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On tip-off, police personnel and security forces conducted a raid in adjourning areas of Peshawar and Charsadda on Saturday and rounded up over 50 suspected persons including Afghan Nationals.

Police claimed to have recovered huge cache of weapons, ammunitions and explosives from suspects’ possession.

The detainees’ identity could not be ascertained immediately.   The detainees have been shifted to undisclosed locations for further investigations.
