Three more bullet-riddled bodies recovered

QUETTA - Three more bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from two different areas of Balochistan on Monday. Some locals informed the Levies Thana Hanna that two dead bodies were lying near Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) area, some 25 KM away from the Quetta. Levies personnel found the bodies there and shifted them to Civil Hospital Quetta for autopsy. The identity of the bodies was established through pieces of papers recovered from each body, identifying them as Abdul Hameed, son of Noor Muhammad, and Hasar Gul, son of Khan Gul. Sources said it was also written on the pieces of papers that both the deceased were killed by the Baloch Liberation Front for spying for government agencies. The sources at the hospital confirmed that the victims had been tortured and shot to death. After completing legal formalities, police moved the bodies to hospital for autopsy. In another incident, a bullet-riddled body was recovered from Wadh area of Khuzdar district. Police sources said they recovered the body from Lowp area of Wadh and shifted it to a hospital for medico legal formalities. Later, the deceased was identified as Abdul Karim, son of Noor Ahmed. Police said the deceased had gone missing three days ago from Wadh Bazaar. Motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained. The police handed over the body to heirs and started further investigation. Meanwhile, unidentified people shot a person dead at Airport Road of Quetta on Monday night and escaped from the scene. Sources said the deceased, Saleh Muhammad, a private employee succumbed to injuries in the hospital. Motive behind the killing is yet to be known.
