Gujrawala- Pomi Butt, who is accused of launching a stone-throwing attack on PTI’s 'Azadi Marchers' in Gujranwala and seven others were granted bail by a local court.
On Friday, Butt surrendered himself to police apparently on PTI pressure. Butt, who is a younger brother of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Gujranwala MPA Imran Khalid Butt, has been alleged of inciting PMLN workers into attacking ‘Azadi March’ participants with stones. Butt, who is now locked up in Sabzi Mandi Police Station, has been denying any involvement in the attack. Today, the police produced Butt and seven other PML-N workers before Session Court judge who granted bail to the accused. They are likely to be released.
