Imran keeps up tirade against Nawaz, Zardari

WAZIRABAD/GUJRANWALA - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that NRO was engineered to help looters camouflage the plunder of national wealth. He said that courts were being victimised purposely to protect the corrupt. The PTI chairman claimed that recently by-elections could be mirror of the upcoming general elections.
He said that contact with the family of late Col (r) Sarwar Cheema will remain as usual. He was talking to the newsmen after attending Rasm-e-Chehlum of Col (r) Ghulam Sarwar Cheema, father of Adnan Sarwar Cheema and Johar Sarwar Cheema, in village Khanki Head on Saturday.  PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sh Waqas, SA Hameed, Raja Naveed Ullah Khan, Shah Nawaz Cheema and Khurram Mukhtar Cheema were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran pointed out that NRO was engineered to hide the looted public money and courts were being insulted and blackmailed purposely. "NRO was a golden sparrow for rulers; first they grabbed power and then started looting," he elaborated and added that insult of courts was part of this planning.  The PTI chief claimed that the rulers were trying to put courts under pressure and "extort" favourable decisions which itself was against the justice.
To a question, Imran asserted that the recently held by-elections, by no mean, could be a mirror of the upcoming general elections. All government resources are utilized in by-elections to get favourable results but general election would have separate circumstances," he argued. He described that results in the upcoming general elections would be altogether different from the by-elections.
To another query, the PTI chief that normalcy could not prevail in Karachi as miscreants never missed a chance to disrupt life and they were doing the same today.  Imran declared that his party would make no alliance with any ruling party.
To a question, former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that they had never sought security from anyone and felt more comfort without security.
Earlier Imran Khan reached Head Khanki through helicopter where he was received by Anan Sarwar Cheema and Johar Sarwar Cheema, the sons of deceased Col (r) Ghulam Sarwar Cheema.
He was taken to Canal rest House Khanki where Rasm-e-Chehlum was held. Prof Allama Muhammad Asif Hazarvi offered dua for endurance of late Sarwar Cheema.
Meanwhile, addressing members of Insaf professional Forum in Gujranwala, Imran claimed that the tsunami of change would sweep away plunderers of the national wealth, feudallords and the discriminatory system
"Professionals can play a vibrant role in government institutions. Railway can be run efficiently by professionals but it is ruined by the Ministry of Railways. Similarly, today's worst condition of PIA can be averted if it was in hands of professionals instead of the Ministry of Defence," the PTI chief said.
Imran pulled his guns on the both ruling parties in the Centre as well as in Punjab, alleging that both the parties leaderships didn't know the pulse of the people.
He pointed out that both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari were equally responsible for the economic slaughter of people of Pakistan.
"PTI was the only political party who protested against the election of "renowned corruption master Zardari" as President of Pakistan; I personally called Nawaz Sharif to join in the protest but due to his under hand deal, he refused", Imran recalled. Imran went bombastic saying that Nawaz Sharif blamed PTI as being supported by agencies after seeing gathering of masses in Lahore on October 30th but the verdict in Asghar Khan case had proved who had taken money from agencies.
He said that Nawaz-Zardari alliance had been continued for the past five years and they had done nothing for the poor. The PTI chief said that even all government parties could not stop the tsunami of change and people now know the real faces of both Nawaz and Zardari and they can no more hoodwink the public through their fake fight.
He pointed out that Nawaz Sharif ruled Punjab five times and also served as prime minister twice but he did nothing for the poor. What change he is claiming to bring in his new Pakistan," argued Imran Khan, adding that "Like an incapable man, Nawaz is continuously copying the slogans raised by the PTI. We used the term 'New Pakistan', Nawaz copied it very next day, we focused youth, they started distributing laptops purchased from public money, some singers sung in PTI gatherings, now the Punjab CM himself has started singing in women colleges", the PTI chairman claimed.
He remarked that ostensibly Nawaz Sharif behaved like a Mughal emperor and asked him to share details of assets and tax returns of his entire family with the people of Pakistan and bring his all wealth in Pakistan if he believed in a new Pakistan.
Imran Khan specifically pointed towards the youngsters present in the public meeting in a large number and said that the youth were the real ambassadors of the change process.
