217 students get laptops in Muzaffargarh


MUZAFFARGARH - MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the PML-N has linked the youth with the world by distributing laptops to them, giving the credit of what he said educational revolution to his party.
“Pakistan is facing numerous crises and the PML-N with the help of youth will purge Pakistan of corruption,” he said while addressing the laptops distribution ceremony to 217 students at the Sports Ground. “Every year Rs1,000 billion was being looted by the corrupt rulers of Pakistan and we have to make Pakistan a corruption-free country for which coordinated efforts are required.”
He said that traffic remained jam for hours for the protocol of rulers and in order to gain respect, distance between people and rulers should be reduced and should service the people to earn good name. He also said that Pakistan is rich in natural resources but due to poor planning we were facing problems. He further said that the Punjab government had taken revolutionary steps for encouraging intelligent male and female students.
The Punjab government was bearing educational expenses of 30,000 students abroad through the Education Endowment Fund and vehicles were being given to 20,000 youths under Yellow Cab Scheme, he said and added that  in the scheme, 40 percent quota had been reserved for Southern Punjab. Humza also appreciated the services of DCO Muzaffargarh Tahir Khursheed.
A smart contingent of the district police presented guard of honour to the male and female students to whom laptops were given. MNA Rana Mehmoodul Hassan, Education Minister Mujtaba ShujauR Rehman, Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmed Khan, Hamad Nawaz Tipu, Mian Muhammad Hussain Muna Shiekh, Sardar Abdul Hayi Dasti,  Rao Asif, Rashid and Tanveer Shahzad Babloo also distributed laptops to the students.
