Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwarul Haq Thursday submitted at the Supreme Court (SC) as many as 43 documents spanning over 400 pages in contempt case against Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
The documents filed by the AG Haq contain evidences including the court orders in connection with the implementation of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) in addition to the previous two verdicts by the apex court.
The documents also comprise the eight-judge bench’s ruling on intra-court appeal by the PM Gilani against indictment order given by seven-member judge.
The AGP Haq’s own affidavit and Thursday’s application are also part of these papers.
