Continuing the tradition of the past years, K-Electric announced today hat it will exempt load shedding during Eid-ul-Fitr. According to the press release this exemption would commence from Saturday morning till Wednesday morning.

“We will ensure all resources will be utilized to provide maximum relief to consumers on Jummat-ul-Wida as well. “We hope that this exemption will enhance the festive spirit of the occasion for the citizens of Karachi” said the KE Spokesman. “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to consumers during few days of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak and are doing our best to ensure such faults do not recur” he added.

However the press statement also reminded consumers that the imminent monsoon season brought a chance of faults in loss-incurred areas, for which Rapid Response Teams have been readied and will be operating in shifts 24/7 to tackle any issues.

The press statement added that four (4) Regional Control centers have been established across the city and the number of response teams has been increased for timely resolution. Consumers are requested to lodge their complaint on 118, 021-99000, the KE SMS service 8119 or KE’s digital media platforms.
