QUETTA : A Christian lawmaker from Balochistan, who was killed in a firing incident in Quetta on Saturday, was laid to rest in Mastung on Sunday. Handery Masih, MPA from the ruling National Party was leaving his home in a suburb of Quetta when his bodyguard who served him for 13 years shot him. Abdul Razzaq Cheema, the city's police chief, said that the bodyguard had some personal dispute with Handery Masih's nephew and both had a brawl outside the residence of the lawmaker.
The killer, Ghulam Mohiuddin's six-day judicial remand was approved.
