PESHAWAR - Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Shahidullah Shahid has said that the government has started military operation in North Waziristan Agency in exchange for dollars to appease their masters.In a statement issued here on Sunday, Shahidullah Shahid said everyone knew that who had violated the peace agreement. He said in the larger interest of the county and Islam, they started serious process of dialogue but unfortunately, their demands were not fulfilled. He added that Taliban were being targeted with fighter jets and gunship helicopters, and these attacks against Taliban would spark a new wave of militancy and retaliatory attacks by Taliban. He said Pakistan Army and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government persuaded the old policy of former president Musharraf and Zardari and they would receive same response as the previous governments received.He also blamed government for not releasing their non-combat prisoners and later killing of their colleague in fake encounters. He said even member of government peace committee Major (r) Mohammad Amir was not satisfied of government attitude to conclude the dialogue process. He reiterated that North Waziristan was being targeted by jet fighters, but the TTP was still serious and sincere for continuation of the process of talks and added, "Our stand in this regard is like an open book." TTP spokesman further warned that all responsibilities would be upon government if they launched major offensive against Taliban at the instigation of United States.5 SECURITY PERSONNEL INJURED IN BLASTAt least five security personnel were injured in an explosion in North Waziristan Agency on Sunday.According to details, a security convoy was passing through Mirali amid curfew when a roadside planted bomb by militants exploded at Karam Kot locality.
