TTP warns of new militancy wave

PESHAWAR - Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Shahidullah Shahid has said that the government has started military operation in North Waziristan Agency in exchange for dollars to appease their masters.

He added that Taliban were being targeted with fighter jets and gunship helicopters, and these attacks against Taliban would spark a new wave of militancy and retaliatory attacks by Taliban.
He said Pakistan Army and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government persuaded the old policy of former president Musharraf and Zardari and they would receive same response as the previous governments received.
