LAHORE - Stage actress Anjuman Shahzadi passed away in Jinnah Hospital late Sunday night. According a close aide requesting anonymity, she was brought to the hospital from a commercial theatre after she had been caught by severe fever. After the fever, her lungs were damaged that might be the reason for her sudden death, he said. He added that the real cause of the death would surface up after autopsy, which had been avoided. Her funeral prayers will be held at her residence in Iqbal Town while she might be buried at her native town, Bahawalpur. In their separate statements, Anjuman Shahzadis colleagues and other people from the stage world expressed sorrow and grief over the sad demise of the stage actress and prayed that may her soul rest in peace. According to the source, DSP Imran said that if the relative of the deceased wanted, autopsy would be carried out. Jinnah Hospital DMS said narcotics ingredients were found in stomach and blood.
