Faisalabad- In an atrociously tragic incident, a juvenile criminal shot dead his mother and sister over just Rs500 in the precinct of D-Type Colony Police Station.
According to police, Tanveer Younus, 22, a resident of Mohalla Rasool Pura, opened fire at his mother and sister after they argued with him about Rs500, he had taken from an amount of Rs3,000 sent to the poor family by his elder brother, who works in Lahore.
As a result, his mother Shamim Akhtar, 45, and his married sister Yasmeen Tabassum, 24, died on the spot.
“Tanveer has a shocking criminal record. A few years back, he was convicted of murdering his father. He also served some years in jail for the same”, said a police official.
The police took both the bodies into its custody and sent them to mortuary for postmortem. The killer managed to escape.
